I submitted three pieces to explore the acceptance of teddy bears as an art form within the gallery context of the North Brevard 59th Art League’s annual show in Titusville, April 2024.
It came as a pleasant surprise when my creation, the "Minister of Defense,"was honored with the Merit Award in the Mixed Media category, despite facing strong competition. Clearly, the judges recognized the bear for its artistic merit!
