This "Wizard of Oz Series" finally completed.  

Dorothy, in 2010, began the long “Yellow Brick Road” to completing these six 18-inch, one-of-a-kind bears in 2018 for a very patient collector. The cast of characters is almost endless, but “Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West”, finishes the series. So fun to see them all together at last!

Elfphaba, The Wicked Witch “Wicked” was a Broadway musical about the untold story of the witches of Oz.  It depicted how two young women become those witches.   

Galinda  became “Glinda” the Good Witch of the North, while Elphaba, the misunderstood girl, became the  “Wicked” the Witch of the West”. The story is told  from her perspective & based upon the best–selling novel by Gregory Maguire, “The Life And Times of the Wicked Witch of the West”.

Elphaba the bear is the 6th in the OZ Series, She is made of hand-tinted mohair and fully jointed, with flex-limbs and glass eyes & not very happy to be waiting so long.

"Anne & Andy" Bears

This huggable pair of sweethearts are always fun to complete because they are so different every time. The variety of colors and finishes in the mohair fabrics, the choices of colors and the beautiful array of fabrics available to costume them, gives me creative license to make each pair unique and adorable.They are always 22-inches and fully jointed with leather paw pads & glass eyes, stuffed & weighted with a combination of polyfiber & plastic pellets to make them ragdoll-like. And yes, they are always finished with a hidden "I love you" heart sewn on their chest!  Matched pair priced at $900.00 or $495.00 individually.

"Rory"

This 18-inch bent-legged bear is made from the last of my tie-dye “Arurora” mohair fabric & created to look like it is wearing pajamas. It is bolt/locknut jointed with blue glass eyes. The head & feet are dense curly white mohair with soft white leather pads.

A mixture of polyfill & pellets give a soft cuddly feel to this baby-like bear that will kneel to say prayers with you or just give a great teddy bear hug when you need it!

"Sweet Treats" - Vanilla

Whether you use it as a pincushion or a happy little something to greet you, this sweet face should make you smile. Mohair head and “body” are weighted & set into a ceramic ice cream cone dish. There are lovely Austrian glass eyes, a multicolored embroidered nose, one neck joint and, of course, sprinkles! (tiny beads). A fun treat to enjoy perpetually…. without the calories! No two alike.
