This picture of the 2003 Family (L.E.5 sets), differs from the earlier 2002 (L.E. 5 sets) in all of the use of fabrics. For those two years I made Families, and in 2004 offered the
Little Shepherd Bear (L.E. 25) to compliment both editions of The Family. The wooden stars were made by my late father-in-law, Norwood White, in 1990 my wooden dolls. I've tied the cribs from dogwood twigs, just as I made the original miniture cribs for my early dolls the 1980's.
Since 2004, 'The Family' has
be available by
one-of-a-kind commissions,
as my time allows. The
price remains $1000 for the
3-piece family, the crib and
the star. Every set is
equally unique and lovely.
